Metro – Edition of 1 – 100x100cm

PosterLad's second original artwork, a lenticular print (20 LPI) measuring 100x100 cm (103x103 cm in a white wooden frame).

Metro is inspired by the tile designs of Prague's metro (A Line), where tiles of the same color are placed next to each other. In this piece, the artist experiments with the idea by using tiles in many different colors, arranged randomly. It explores a mix of order and randomness.

The lenticular technology allows the artwork to shift colors when viewed from different angles, creating a dynamic visual experience. The piece evokes the rhythmic ebb and flow of ocean tides, rising and receding in a continuous cycle. A hanging system is integrated into the back of the frame for easy display.
